Worshiping God in Nature has never been easier

Barnyard Fellowship    Starting 11-29-23       7 pm

Our Wednesday Evening Barnyard Fellowships will start up again on November 8th.  We will have a pot-luck meal at 6:15 p.m. and the program will start promptly at 7 p.m.  The Mayberry Bible Study will be our discussion topic for several weeks.  There will be a 20 - 25 minute DVD each week with Sheriff Andy Taylor, Barney and others acting out some practical applications for daily living.  We will then have a discussion tying several Bible Scriptures into the study.

Valentine Party                             Feb 10th          6 pm

Party starts at 6 p.m. with a Chuck Wagon meal prepared by Chef Brian, along with his Chuck Wagon Gang, with entertainment to follow.  Bring your entire family, your neighbors, and friends and enjoy a fine supper and family friendly entertainment by our local folks. Everything will be furnished for you to enjoy and there is no charge to attend and no offerings will be taken.

After the meal, we will have some games and entertainment by our own people, and maybe even by you!!!!  Humor, skits, poetry, and music (please bring your own instrument if playing music).

Sunrise Easter Service            March 31st          7 am

He has Risen!

Join us Easter Sunday for an inside sunrise service at 7 am followed by a hearty breakfast (everything provided) and Easter Egg hunt.

Oregon Trail Weekend Trail Ride & Campout

Join us this holiday weekend for a wide variety of free outdoor activities in a pasture off of West Union Road! Trail rides, camping, Chuck Wagon meals, fishing, games, wagon rides, devotions, Sunday Cowboy Service, and more. There is something for the whole family to enjoy! We look forward to another fun-filled, family friendly, good time.

DIRECTIONS - From Westmoreland, proceed three miles South on Hwy. 99, then East on West Union Road. Continue on West Union Road past the Forrester Road intersection approx. 6/10th mile. Then follow the CCC Signs to where our campground is located. The address is 15280 West Union Road, Westmoreland, KS. 66549. Primitive overnight camping is suggested Saturday night so you can enjoy all the week-end activities.

SATURDAY, MAY 25TH, 2024
11TH ANNUAL MEMORIAL DAY TRAIL RIDE (CALL BEFORE YOU HAUL) Registration begins @ 9 a.m. The morning ride leaves @ 10 a.m. The pasture terrain makes for an easy ride. Return to the campground at noon for sandwiches and drinks. Resume the ride from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Then settle your horses, get your campsite ready and enjoy a Chuck Wagon supper at 6 p.m.

OTHER DAY-TIME ACTIVITIES Pond Fishing, Kid and Adult Games, and Wagon Rides will be available for those who stay behind. Or you can just relax under our large tent, read a book, or SLEEP!

CHUCK WAGON SUPPER AT 6 P.M. We’ll have a real Oregon Trail Chuck Wagon Meal served with all the trimmings at 6 p.m. Cookie and his assistants will have been working all afternoon preparing the meal using the smoker attached to our Chuck Wagon.

FIRESIDE GATHERING TO CLOSE OUT THE EVENING After the meal, we’ll join around the fire pit to discuss the day, have some devotion time and sing some country and Gospel songs. Bring your guitars and/or other musical instruments. (No electricity).

SUNDAY, MAY 26TH, 2024
CHUCK WAGON BREAKFAST AT 8:30 A.M. Fire Pit Coffee available early. After Breakfast, care for your campsite and get ready for Cowboy Church.

COWBOY CHURCH SERVICE STARTS AT 10 A.M. Cowboy Church Service will take place under the large tent starting at 10 A.M. Bring your Bibles and enjoy Worship time the Cowboy Way!

ANOTHER CHUCK WAGON MEAL AT 12 NOON: No fancy meal, just the way it was done on the Oregon Trail in the old days!

AFTERNOON TRAIL RIDE AND OTHER ACTIVITIES After the meal, we’ll have a short Trail Ride as well as Other Activities for those who won’t be riding. We’ll return to the campground area at 3 p.m. to gather up our belongings and head home.
